Services

As all commissions are different in their scope and specification, I will devise the optimum strategy for your recruitment campaign to help attract interested candidates.

Define

To define the network, a Target Company List is formulated.  There are a number of ways to draw up this list, and this could include:

  • competitors of the hiring company
  • members of trade associations
  • regional league tables – where industry sector is not of such relevance, or where a relocation package is not on offer

Identify

The next stage involves identifying individuals that can add value to the networking exercise.  Most people will be potential candidates, although some names will be included as sources – and generally these are individuals who may have recently switched organisations, and could help with recommendations.  Sources of information could include:

  • LinkedIn – the professional networking site.  Others worth considering include the German site, Xing, and the French site, Viadeo.
  • Conference material – a great source for identifying speakers, and exhibitors
  • Telephone enquiries – can help fill in the networking gaps

Network

Following approval of the desk research, I will start the networking, to reach out to the pool of passive candidates – via email or telephone.  In general:

  • all prospective candidates who express an interest to find out more are sent a role outline and candidate specification
  • all prospective candidates are followed up to gauge their level of interest in the opportunity.  If there is no interest, to find out the reasons behind their decision
  • feedback is recorded – and if there is any trend in responses that could affect the outcome of the networking, this would be flagged up

Generate

Define, Identify and Network are the three main stages of executive search research that enhance the chances of identifying interested candidates for a recruitment campaign that match the specification.
