JM Research Ltd (company number 5003547) will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our candidates, clients, suppliers and contacts. We will ensure that the information you submit to us is only used for the purposes set out in this policy.
JM Research Ltd is a research organisation, networking in the passive candidate markets to identify interested individuals for retained assignments.
The Information We Collect and How We Use It
JM Research Ltd collects data on candidates, clients, contacts and suppliers from a variety of sources which may include: networking sites, confidential referrals, conferences etc.
Processing is based and stored solely at the Company’s registered office.
The Company will collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details (together with your e-mail address) and, for candidates, other relevant information from your CV. This information is held, used and disclosed by us as follows:
- to provide our services to you;
- to maintain our business relationship, where you are a contact, client, candidate or supplier;
- to enable you to submit your CV for general applications or to apply for specific jobs;
- to match your details with our job vacancies and to send your personal information to clients, but only ever with your express permission;
- to answer your enquiries;
- to direct-market services. Where we do so, you will be able to unsubscribe from such communications;
- to fulfil contractual obligations with our clients
- we may also release personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies, if they require us to do so. We will also disclose your information where we are permitted and requested to do so by law; and
- we may also seek your consent to collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information for any other purpose not listed above.
How long we keep your data
- We are required under UK tax law to keep our Clients’ basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 7 years after which time it will be destroyed.
- Candidate and CV data is stored for a maximum of two years from the date of last contact after which time it will be destroyed.
- Candidates have the right to be forgotten, to rectify or access data, to restrict processing, to withdraw consent or to be kept informed about the processing of their data. Please direct your request to info@jmresearch.co.uk.
- Information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be changed by JM Research Ltd. If we change our privacy policy in the future, we will advise you of changes or updates to our privacy policy by a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
What are your rights
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated info@jmresearch.co.uk.
